Reflection 4

Write a letter to a brand-new BYU student reflecting on how you have changed and what you have learned this semester based on your experiences in your UNIV 101 class. This new BYU student is a lot like you were when you started at BYU—intelligent and capable, and they have some things to learn about what it means to be a disciple-scholar. In your letter you should make clear claims about

  1. What you see as the most critical things for a new BYU student to know. What campus resources might be helpful to a new student? Present at least two or three resources that have been helpful to you.
  2. What you recommend this new student do to become a successful disciple-scholar at BYU Provide evidence for your claims, such as personal experiences, connections to course readings, or ideas generated in class discussions. Make sure that you share what you learned from at least two of the class learning outcomes see Syllabus . This assignment should contain no less than 500 words.
